Artist Statement
I love the idea that there is a hidden connectedness and interdependency between everything and everyone in the universe.

My vertical panels depict the moments of transformation in minute life forms. The work aims to at once represent these imaginary yet familiar organisms being born, living, decaying, and dying.

In the net paintings I zoom out, in order to observe a more expansive point of view, capturing a perspective on the interconnectedness of all things. This broader perspective opens up to reveal the substratum of life-force: a grid that acts as the woven fabric of a manifested world. It's as if the world was clinging to, or stretched across a net … or was hung up, on a line to dry.
