Artist Bio

Born in Italy, Patti was raised and educated in Canada. Patti has completed a Masters level degree from the University of British Columbia and has pursued her counselling vocation in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island. Patti studied art through the Fine Art Department at North Island College and continues to work in clay, paint and stone sculpture.

Artist Statement

Patti's work and art are motivated by a strong desire and commitment of self reflection, growth and communication. This process of "looking in" and "reaching out" are values expressed through a variety of mediums. The art is based on a continuing exploration and deep desire to experience fully her life journey with purpose and meaning. Patti's art is classical and characterized by an emphasis on form. Patti presents us with art which emanates power and strength in a highly expressionistic style.
