Artist Statement

"In my latest series 'Red Ball Portraits' I try to illustrate human sentiments and relationships within landscapes. The sometimes distracting outward appearance of the human form is removed and replaced with spheres, which allows viewers to connect directly to the emotions of the soul without any interference of prejudiced ideas of the physical being." -Tim Lemen
